Why Gather, Grow, Produce?

It is possible to grow a church and not grow Christians. Unfortunately, many leaders learn this lesson too late. Using various church growth strategies, they fill their churches and launch new ministries only to watch them struggle or fail. These failures can often be attributed to spiritual immaturity.

By placing people in positions of responsibility before they have learned how to follow Jesus in a meaningful way or even agreed with the church’s mission statement, leaders have set themselves up for conflict and failure.
